HAPPY HOLIDAZE....

We were able to get to spend a little bit a time with quite a bit of family while we were in GF for Christmas this year.
We took my Grandma B. to the Boise Botanical Gardens - for Christmas time they have it all lit up so pretty! The Lights are everywhere and are so BRIGHT! They were really pretty! We all had a good time and enjoyed seeing the lights even though it was SO FREEZING COLD! :)

I wasn't great at taking a lot of pictures of things, however, my Mom had my Aunt Denise make these awesome boards for each of us girls! I love it - Idaho is home! :) I love how they turned out too!
Thanks Mom and Aunt Denise for making it!

We had a really nice Christmas Eve Dinner with just my family and then Aunt Denise and Tyler too! We had a lot of fun eating, catching up, and face timing with Hailey and Sawyer and Casey haha! They obviously were feeling extrememly left out...and we were all missing them terribly and wishing they could have been there with us too!!

Car & Mom & Me
We got to catch a couple of great movies too - THOR II and THE HOBBIT II :)

Thanks for another great staycation family! It's always so nice to come home and visit and get some lovely r&r :) We love you very much --- another great year in the books! xoxo
LOVE YOU FAMILY!

We have snow. A lot of Snow in St. George, Utah

This is absolutely crazy! It is unreal how much snow we got here at my house!! Yes, I live in ST. GEORGE, UTAH, the place where it shines all year long! Not the case here....

Saturday Dec. 2 later evening it started to snow, we figured it would be melted as soon as we woke up the next morning...BOY WERE WE WRONG!!

We got all the sidewalks and our driveway all shoveled off... but we thought it would be fun to go up on Dixie rock and check things out up there! It was so pretty with the snow on the red rocks! We had fun going up there - Kruz had fun playing in the snow too! :)

The snow ended up staying on the ground for 2 weeks!! It was unreal...now just waiting for Spring to get here to see how much damage was actually done to our yard. Just hoping we didn't lose a lot of our plants :( Our yard was looking so great...it makes me sad to think it's not going to be as full as it was last year. Oh well - nothing that can be done now...such is life! Here is to a nice Spring though!! :)

Thanksgiving - Williams, AZ

We had to leave this cute little guy behind with a friend while we were gone for Thanksgiving! :(

***NOTE*** this post has a lot of Pictures - courtesy of Darci, Amy, and Sara, mostly since they all have quite a great skill and knack with taking pictures! :) Thanks for sharing them with me! xo

We went to be with the Hansen Clan for Thanksgiving in Williams, Az to stay at a cabin there with everybody!! There was snow there so it was fun to get to play in it - we built a snow man and did some sledding.

Here is the awesome cabin we were at for the week! It was beautiful, however, I failed to get any pictures of it. lame.

This is how drives end up with Kyle when he is not driving...I think we had been in the car for like 10 minutes. Maybe. Pretty typical haha - We were on our way to The Grand Canyon - South Rim! I was pretty excited to go and see this part of the Grand Canyon since I haven't ever been to this location before!

We were not disappointed in all it's grandeur! Holy cow - it is so beautiful and luckily it was a pretty clear day. Only scattered clouds, but it gave it just as much beauty to be able to admire! It was such a picturesque place! I feel so blessed that I was able to get to see such a beautiful creation - God has truly blessed us with the creation of the Grand Canyon. I don't know how else to explain it - absolutely breathtaking! Here are a handful of pictures to try and show just how amazing the view really is!

We had a lot of fun checking things out at all of the lookouts, but I would have loved to spend more time there! Maybe another trip is in store to do more exploring there! :)

So the big thing for us going to stay in Williams for Thanksgiving was going to take the little kiddos on the Polar Express Train Ride! This whole train experience is pretty awesome for the kids definitely - so that was fun to get to see them get so excited about Santa, the lights, and singing, and the story.
However, Kyle and I, and Jordan and McKayla, we probably looked like a group of creepers since we don't have any kids. lol kind of funny I would recommend going on this only if you have children :) haha but we still had a great time with everyone!

Anyways, we were glad we got to share the special night with our nieces and nephew! It was so sweet to see if they would get excited, happy, scared, or sad when Santa came by! They all liked him far away at the North Pole! haha

Thank you Steve & Darc for the wonderful trip!
