sister time!

My Cute little sister, Carli, was in town for a friend's wedding and she got to stay with us! It was so much fun to have her around even if it was just for a little bit! We miss having you so close!

Car and I enjoyed some yummy hot chocolate at the Bear Paw one morning while she had some free time for me :)

The weather was so nice while she was here even in October :)
Thanks for the quick visit Car! xoxo

Cinder Cone & Red Mountain

Being in the young women's in my ward I get to do fun stuff with our youth. We recently got to take the ym and yw on some hikes for the day and it was so much fun. We did this for our ward youth conference, so there was hiking, some great talks, testimonies shared, and some really yummy food!

Red Mountain trail is probably one of my favorite hikes because the views are breathtaking and it is so close to St. George, but you get the same majestic views you would in Zion. I love it.

Here are some pictures from our hike at the lookout point on Red Mountain Trail. This overlooks into Snow Canyon State Park. Isn't it beautiful? I LOVE THIS VIEW!

Here are some pictures at the volcano just outside of St. George - Cinder Cone Trail

Anyways, we had a wonderful day together! It was great to get outside and observe all the beauty God has created for us to enjoy. We are so blessed! I love this group of ladies - they are pretty wonderful women - I am lucky to get to get the chance to serve with them! :)

At the river

So while the guys were off to Oregon fishing Darci took us girls and the kiddos to their condo on the river in Bullhead City, just across the river from Laughlin. This was my first time coming here before! Anyways, the weather was great, we got to play down at the water, and lay in the sun!

We tried getting the kids involved in painting some of the river rocks, it lasted for about 10 minutes and they were done. They were fast painters ;) ahah I think the adults ended up enjoying it a little bit more.
I didn't get pictures of the others, I did this lil penguin looking one and a couple others that were fish. I enjoyed it and had a lot of fun doing that! :)

One night we went over to one of the Casinos in Laughlin to dinner and they had an arcade there that we took the kids up to. Aiden, Klara, and Cozette, loved winning the tickets!! It was pretty cute when they would play a game and they would just start coming out of the maching....they thought it was so funny! It was cute :)

Another afternoon we went down the road a little ways to visit the little town of Oatman. This was another first for me so I wasn't sure what to expect, but they referred to it as the run down little donkey town. haha I think they nailed it on the description.

So Sara's car was stopped by the nice little town greeters, ahah DONKEYS!

They wanted to get in with Amy :)

And I wanted to get out to play!

This was my favorite little mural while walking through the town. I thought it was pretty funny - "classy Ass"

This was the best group shot! Cutie pies! haha good thing we took it right when we got there!

We also got to celebrate Darci's birthday while we were there too! Happy Birthday Darc! :)

Thanks Darc for the fun trip at the river! Can't wait to go back to visit again! :)

Yankee Meadows

Labor Day Weekend Mitch &  Danielle were in town and so the 4 of us escaped up to Yankee Meadows to spend the day relaxing and fishing! It was such a fun day!
It was fun getting to spend time with Mitch and get to know Danielle too - they are such a cute couple together! I really liked Danielle a lot - too bad they aren't here in St. George!

It was a beautiful day up there!
