FIJI TIME!!

So this March my parents took our family to FIJI for vacation again. However, we got to go to a different place....we stayed at the beautiful Matangi Island Resort! It was absolutely amazing! Even though getting there takes so long, once we are there - of course it is so WORTH IT!! I just love FIJI and everything about it! (So here are only a handful of the pictures we took.)

So diving is a great bonus while we are in FIJI! It has some of the best scuba diving in the world! I am so glad that is something that we all like to do together...it's one of my most favorite things to do! So here are some of the pictures we took while diving (only a couple since we took SO many!).

Kyle, Elia - our divemaster, and myself. He was a lot of fun. Like I said all the Fijian people we have ever met are so incredibly happy. We are so blessed to have all we have and it is a very humbling experience to know how others live. I am very grateful to be able to experience both these worlds.

Dive at the "Purple Wall" which was my favorite dive site the whole trip! The purple coral was amazing! We saw so many different things on that dive - not to mention a ton of reef sharks!

Ok so this is my Dad, Moses, and myself. Moses was our divemaster first 4 years ago when we stayed at Wananavu. We went there 2 years in a row so we got to know him really well. Not to mention, he idolized my Dad. It is so funny -- he calls my Dad "Mo Mo Marika" which in Fijian means, Uncle Mark. My Dad loved it! So ironically, this year he lived on the neighboring island to us on Quemea. So we gave him a call after finding out he lived there and he came over and dove with us one day. It was fun to see him and reconnect.

Kyle and I hike up Beverly Hills to go to the Horseshoe Bay lookout. It was so amazing! The water is so clear that we could see lots of fish and we saw 3 different sea turtles surface while p there watching. One of the staff members Marika took us up there.

Von Kruz is 1!!

Happy Birthday Kruzer boy!! Today Kruz turned 1 - he had a very fun-filled day once we got home from work! We brought Clutch up before the "party" so they could just play and play and play :) Once our little party started we had some din din and then on to the CUPCAKES!!

VISITS!

Ok so I love when someone is in town to visit....Ash and Andrew were in town from Vegas and so we went to lunch with them and then Kristen and her beau caught up with us too! Luckily, we got a photo :)

Then, later in January my Mom and Dad had a convention in Vegas and were able to swing down to St. George to stay the weekend with us! It was so fun to just hang out. I sure love them! (We took the picture in front of our newly landscaped courtyard area--it's fabulous!).

Snowboarding- Brian Head

This year Kyle and I got season passes to Brian Head! It has been so much fun to go up nearly every weekend to go snowboarding. Kyle has gotten so good....He is AWESOME! I love to watch him work on his new tricks and ride the rails :) I am so glad that we have hobbies that WE both love so much! This is just one of the many.....

So we got to be at my parents' house for Christmas. It was so nice because Kyle and I, Hailey and Steve, and Carli......we were all home with mom and dad! Pictures can sometimes say more than words for me..... :)

Snowmobiling in Idaho :)

So Ky and I got to go to Idaho over the holidays too! It is so much fun to get to be with family! On Wednesday Ky and I went up to Bennett with my Dad to go snowmobiling....surprisingly there was quite a lot of snow! It was so great - the snow was fresh powder and no one was up there! :) Kyle hadn't ever been before, but of course he had no troubles adjusting to a new adventure! I hadn't been in a little while so it was nice to get to go out and be on the sled again! I have so many great memories growing up from going snowmobiling with family and friends!!

My Dad loves it so much and it was fun for him to take Kyle and Steve out... they went up with my Uncle Rusty and cousins Dustin and Bubba. (They went 4 days in a row!) Kyle loved every second of it and definately was a little sore after all the fun on the mountain!! Thanks Daddy for the fun time up there! xoxo

Tooele Bound!

So we were able to go and spend some time with our Treece family during the holidays! It was so much fun and we got to go snowboarding a couple times. They are all skiers and then Ky and I both board. They took us to both Solitude and Brighton...it was so much fun and the weather both days we went was amazing...it was really great! THANKS!! xoxo Kruz loves to go there too because he just loves to follow fletch around...and Blue stays as far away from Kruz as possible! Jake loves to play with Kruz. It is so funny! They are all so much fun and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
Becca and I made "our own home-made Sushi" it was so fun and so so so YUMMY!! I can't wait to make it again! :) I should have got some photos of the finished product...Becca and I both have a secret career to fall back on! Ha Ha!
