Road trip: Part I

Off to Idaho we go.... we all know this makes me so happy to get to go home every chance I get, but this time of year we have been able to make this trip each year and I hope that we can continue to do that. It is basically tradition now and I love it that we can all get together and spend time catching up and doing all the fun things that we grew up getting to do! I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful family :)

However, I just wish Kyle liked driving in the car more than he does....the worst ever! Seriously not even kidding...you thought kids were bad in the car...think again. Mr. Complainer at his finest. When he isn't driving he and Kruz are catching up on their "Z's" ahah This is the first stretch of the drive too...going to be a long day. ;) j/k I don't mind the drive AT ALL!

This is the view from my parents house - it never gets old. I love it here and love all the great memories I have here at this house and up on the farm. I will forever treasure them!

We always stop in to the GF cemetary to say hi to Shelby. Riley, and Papa. I miss them all so much. ;(

Got to meet up with Bubba as I was headed out of town, can't be in GF and not see him! What a great cuzin I have! xo

On our way to McCall we stopped outside of Boise to say hi to the Bunn's! We met up with Aunt Niece, Case, and luckily McKay, Colton and Kailee were there staying so we even got to see them! It was really great because we hadn't seen them in a while! They have grown so much!

I have been making lots of jewelry and I thought this was cool because all of us girls were sportin' the bracelets that I make! They looked awesome on everyone - thanks for all the support! You're the best!

It was so much fun getting to see lots of family and friends while being at home! Love and miss you all so much. I wish that St. George was closer to GF...I would be able to make the trip more often! Why can't it be only like 3 hours instead of 8 hours?! ugh... everyone always tells me it is my fault for moving away in the first place...I guess they are right!! ahah

little visitors from CA

Bella and her sister Jazzy were both able to come out and stay with Kyle and I here in the good 'ol STG!  Of course we had lots of fun with each of them. Bella came first and then a couple weeks later Jazz came out to stay with us too! So they each got to have some quality time with Kyle - they love him just like he was their big brother! Crazy girls, but we love them! :) Kyle met the Kumar family when he was serving out on his mission in San Jose, CA.

While the girls were here visiting us in St. George in the middle of the summer:

We swam A LOT

Bella had never been to Zion so I took her up there to see how beautiful it is!

Did lots of swimming with Jazzy too

She is such a great young woman - beautiful, smart, and filled with the spirit of the Lord.

Thanks girls for the great memories! We love ya!

Familiar Faces

Cindy and Bryan and the kids were visiting from Texas and I was lucky enough to get to catch up with them a few times while they were here in STG. It was so nice to have them close when they were living up in Cedar - Texas is just so far away! Her girls have sure grown up - holy smokes! :) Love you all to pieces and thanks for catching up!! xoxo

Skimmin' on the River

We have been taking full advantage of skimboarding this summer. We have been going pretty regularly down to the river with family, friends, and kids in the neighborhood, and of course Kruz tags along with us! This has been the perfect way for us to tolerate this heat and enjoy the things we love to do!

I love my yard

Kyle and I feel so extremely blessed to have such a beautiful place to hang out at our home. WE LOVE OUR YARD so much and even more so right now when everything is blooming and is so vibrant with colors. It can always put a smile on my face. :) Right now colors are Yellow, Pink, Purple, and White!

Breakfast at Tifiny's

So as we left Idaho, we of course had Mom and Hailey and Soy stop and stay the night with us here in ST. George before they had to finish their last stretch of the drive back to Seal Beach. What better way to spend the morning than by going to breakfast at 'Breakfast at Tifiny's' ? I know that is what I thought, no better way. All of the food was so yummy and even Soy had fun! Great morning and great way to end my travels with my family - I always hate goodbyes! LOVE YOU!

Fun at Home!

Here were a few of the highlights of being home with my family in Idaho

Got to visit with a great friend from college, Sharis! She and Bentley came to lunch with us and then we were lucky enough to get to see Sharis and Travis at the Kenny Chesney concert too! You look amazing Sharis - can't believe you are expecting! xo

Always so much fun to get to see Bubba - I just love him! :) Glad we got to get together - making more memories!

Tyler is pretty much my big brother, I love him to pieces. He is so good to us girls and was sweet enough to leave us a small herd of calves for me, hay, car, and case to brand! We had the best day together - it was beautiful out and we actually did pretty well roping considering how rusty the 3 of us were. :)
Papa was definitely there with us helping out - hope we made him proud! We all miss you so much and are so grateful for all the wonderful memories that we have with our Papa! ;)

Sawyer and I were matching for Church :) Not on purpose either!

One afternoon while Carli was at work, we dropped Soy off to Aunt Neece and Mom and Hailey and I went over to do a session at the Boise Temple. I haven't actually been in since they had redone it this winter. It looked so beautiful - they did a wonderful job! We ran into an old friend of mine's mom, April Nicilosi. She is such a nice lady - it was nice to see her. Anyways it was such a great way to get to spend the day with my mother and my big sister. So grateful to know that we are part of an eternal family - I couldn't have picked a better family to be part of. I love them all with all of my heart! <3 p="">

I know Dad loves having ALL of his girls home! Boy do we all love him - he is so good to all of us and we all couldn't be luckier to have him as our Dad!
We had such a YUMMY meal at Gramercy Park too! Fun to finally see what a great place it is - Jessica and Park have done a great job with it! All of the food is soooo good! :)

Finally the Kenny Chesney concert!! Holy Smokes was it good!! YES! So Kasey Musgraves, and The Eli Young Band opened for Kenny! All in all it was an awesome night! I love country music so it was just amazing to see, listen, and enjoy the company of my favorite ladies, my mom and my 2 sisters! It was perfect! :) Thanks for the good times!

Oh hey Kenny! :) Awesome performer!

Obviously the trip consisted of TONS more, but I won't make a novel of this, because I think everyone knows how much I love to visit back home to Idaho. Nothing better than pulling into GF and going up the hill to pull into Mom and Dad's place. I love it there and have so many wonderful memories there!
I am one lucky girl! :)
