Snowmobiling in Idaho :)

So Ky and I got to go to Idaho over the holidays too! It is so much fun to get to be with family! On Wednesday Ky and I went up to Bennett with my Dad to go snowmobiling....surprisingly there was quite a lot of snow! It was so great - the snow was fresh powder and no one was up there! :) Kyle hadn't ever been before, but of course he had no troubles adjusting to a new adventure! I hadn't been in a little while so it was nice to get to go out and be on the sled again! I have so many great memories growing up from going snowmobiling with family and friends!!
My Dad loves it so much and it was fun for him to take Kyle and Steve out... they went up with my Uncle Rusty and cousins Dustin and Bubba. (They went 4 days in a row!) Kyle loved every second of it and definately was a little sore after all the fun on the mountain!! Thanks Daddy for the fun time up there! xoxo

What a great day!! Love you Dad and Kyle---Thanks for helping me get "unstuck" :)

Tooele Bound!

So we were able to go and spend some time with our Treece family during the holidays! It was so much fun and we got to go snowboarding a couple times. They are all skiers and then Ky and I both board. They took us to both Solitude and Brighton...it was so much fun and the weather both days we went was amazing...it was really great! THANKS!! xoxo Kruz loves to go there too because he just loves to follow fletch around...and Blue stays as far away from Kruz as possible! Jake loves to play with Kruz. It is so funny! They are all so much fun and we are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!
Becca and I made "our own home-made Sushi" it was so fun and so so so YUMMY!! I can't wait to make it again! :) I should have got some photos of the finished product...Becca and I both have a secret career to fall back on! Ha Ha!

Day 4

So for the last day of the trip we decided to rent bikes and ride through all of Central Park! It was so much fun...however you are very much deceived because here in the middle of the city you think it is very flat....oh no! There were some big hills through the bike paths. It was so fun to see the sites in Central Park. We went by the big lawn and the bridge and Belvedere Castle.

Afterwards we went and at a pizzaria.....Bella Vita's! It was really really good pizza!! after that we had to make our way back to the JFK airport and head back home! Thanks for the fun trip!

Day 3 = BLACK FRIDAY in NYC!

Bergdorf Goodman's had the most amazing window displays...here are a couple of them!! Incredible... I know!

Rockettes greeted us as we came through the doors

Entry of Macy's NYC

Waiting for the 5 AM opening at Macys!

Ky & Jordan at the Mac Store

Later in the day we went and took the subway to Ground Zero and walked through that area. It was so neat to be able to see it. The firefighters have put together a small wall memorial....it was amazing. It was really quite an emotional experience I thought.....so sad. We walked around down there and it was so cool what their plans are for the new memorial for 9-11. I would love to see it once it is completed!

K---so Kyle and I love the show, "The Office" so while we were down at the Rockafeller Center, the NBC Studio store was really close...We went there and by the way...Kyle now has a Dundee Award and also a Dwight Bobble-head. It was pretty funny when he showed me he got them...
So as we are walking down streets and such....we were starving. We love a good hot dog...and let me tell you...they were so yummy! I even had 2! :)

Day 2 in NYC = Macy's Thanksgiving Parade =really long post!

THURSDAY IS FILLED WITH ADVENTURE!!

Thursday morning, we got to go stand in line to get to our seats for the Macy's Parade pretty early! We had great seats to see all the amazing floats and it was nice because we were at the start of the parade. There were great and creative floats and of course all of the balloons were incredible and not to mention, HUGE! They look big on the TV, but in person they are unreal! I couldn't believe how many people they had holding each balloon so it wouldn't fly away! Crazy! :) (Luckily we had pretty nice weather and didn't get the rain we had the night before). It was so fun that all of us got to go and see it! It was a really neat experience we'll always remember! :)

Here are some of the floats that I liked best!!

Macy's Balloon started out the parade

Sailor Mickey

Buzz Lightyear

Snoopy

Ziggy Marley

Cindy Lauper!! Ha Ha

Got to love Shrek

Spiderman was back!

Santa

After the parade we then decided we wanted to do some more exploring! We took the subway down to the Staten Island Ferry so we could go see the beautiful Lady Liberty herself! While taking the ferry to Staten Island we could also see Ellis Island. It was so cool! I actually imagined the Statue of Liberty to be a lot bigger but it was still incredible! :) I am so glad we got to go and see it! After we got back to the Hotel we got ready to go and fill ourselves full of an amazing Turkey Dinner! We went to a restaurant located in Central Park called the Boathouse. It was really pretty and the food was delicious! I was so full though! After rolling out of the restaurant Ky and I wanted to go down and go to Times Square at night with things all lit up and getting ready for crazy shoppers the next day!! It was so bright down there....the entire sides of buildings were lit up you almost forget that it was night time! :) We had a really funny experience in the "Charmin" bathrooms......they had a DJ up there and had computers to "rate your go" and all sorts of crazy things for a bathroom! Sara and I thought it was pretty funny.....especially on this huge toilet! After we completed our experience at Times Square we headed over to the Rockafeller Center and saw the BIG Christmas Tree....the ice rink....where they host the Today Show. Great Day!
